This 2-day PALS course is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be both a team member and a team leader in either an in-hospital or out-of hospital setting.
It is suitable for all health professionals with a need for advanced skills, competence and confidence in paediatric emergency situations and who may be required to respond to a paediatric cardiovascular emergency.
The mastery style of assessment is the form of assessment predominantly utilised during the course. Through using this style, specific targets are set and participants are required to meet these during the programme. Participants may pass each target on their first attempt, or require several efforts to reach the required standards.
