Preparation
In order for participants to gain the most benefit and to achieve the assessment standards of the course, it is essential the online course readings and practice tests are completed prior to the course.

Content
The Recertification course commences with an update on any new Resuscitation Science and then goes straight into summative and formative assessments. Each skill station starts with a demonstration of the required standard by the instructor, a short practice/tutorial period followed by assessment.
Assessment
The mastery style of assessment is the form of assessment predominantly utilised during the course. Through using this style, specific targets are set and participants are required to meet these during the programme. Participants may pass each target on their first attempt, or require several efforts to reach the required standards.
Registration closing date is four weeks prior to course commencement date.
