This is a 4-hour course, having both theoretical and practical components utilising specialised intravenous training arms.
This course is open to anyone who is interested in learning the basic skills of taking blood and IV Cannulation. It has been designed and developed to assist those that are required to safely perform Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation and Phlebotomy as part of their practice.
Upon successful completion of the course, a Certificate of Participation is awarded which is valid for two years, however, this certificate does not qualify you as a phlebotomist. If you wish to become qualified practitioner, this can be achieved by further training on qualified technical schools and practising blood taking on a regular basis.
